This policy describes how Home Assets (“the App”) handles information on your device.
1. Local-first
Home Assets is designed to store your device records, categories, photos, and reminders primarily on your iPhone or iPad using on-device storage. We do not require you to sign in or create an account to use the core features.
2. Data we do not collect
The App does not include third-party advertising or general-purpose analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, or similar) for tracking behavior in the App.
3. Permissions you may grant
The system may ask permission for:
- Camera / Photos — to attach images of devices, invoices, or manuals.
- Notifications — to show local reminders about warranty or maintenance dates you configure.
You can change these in iOS Settings. If you deny access, related features may be limited.
4. Network
The App’s shell may use the network for app configuration or updates as implemented in your build.
5. Children
The App is not directed at children under 4. Do not use it to collect personal information from children.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
